Hi,
You must upgrade to SE to go Plus. The Plus software is built on the SE HD
release and will check for the SE upgrade in the EEPROM before running.

  DO you have to upgrade your HD 1.1 to SE then go to PLUS or can you
  just go from HD to PLUS?
  I've seen conflicting info on this.
