I just got a 500Mb Quantum Fireball 540s drive for $11, but can't get
the Emax II to recognize it. Anyone know if it's even compatible? I
called E-mu, but they only had 2 drives listed as compatible and both
were very old. Since it's not even getting recognized I've gathered that
it's either completely incompatible or I need to put a jumper on the
drives termination jumper. I tried using a paperclip since I don't have
any jumpers laying around and I've tried a few SCSI IDs to no avail. :(
So taking it's incompatible I now have a Quantum Fireball 540s for
trade or sale to anyone needing a 500MB SCSI drive
Oy!
