Hello I am newbie in this group and there may been discussion of following things, but i didn't found anything with quick search. I got rusty old Emax, which seems to been lying in some shed for years. I opened the unit (i want to check some things before i put the power on first time). I regognized, that there was missing chip in the corner of the prosessor board. Beside the socket there is painted "IC6". What chip there should be (if any)? There is also some 8-pin chip assembled (glued) upside down near the connector for display /front panel with some wires running around the prosessor board. Is that something known modification or just some repairement? I have never used Emax before, so should there be any "welcome messages" on the display even i don't have any disk in the floppy drive. (Just to check that there is some functionality in the software when put the power first time on) There is some markings that board version is 2 and C, Is any schematics available for this machine? Sorry about these many questions. Regards, Jukka
