Emax

Hello,

got my Emax II working and got a copy of Alchemy 3 from the files section. 
I had someone make up a 422 cable for me to interface the mac to the synth.

problem now is when I try to get info from the synth, I get a message in 
Alchemy saying

"Can't get keyboard map:  EmaxII"

bear in mind, I have only installed Alchemy from the SIT.  I didn't install 
OMS or any midi drivers because I am just going to use it with the 422 port 
on the mac.  I have turned appletalk off, selected Emax II in Alchemy and 
made sure my cable was plugged into the printer port on the mac.

I know the 422 on the synth is working because I made a loopback tester and 
it said the test passed fine when run from the Emax diagnostics menu.

Can anyone shed any light on what I may be doing wrong?
