According to the manual the wheels and the sliders should be calibrated so the "post"
setting ranges from 0 - 255.

Subject: [emax] I/O and calibration problems!?!?!?!?!?! Please help!
Greetings,
I'm the new guy on the block...... I just recently bought an Emax Rack from Ebay, and have
come across a problem. My outputs are sending out a weak signal in comparison to what
I'm putting into it when I sample. The output level was sent into ProTools and analyze at
-40db????? So, I tested all cables and then realized no matter what kind of cord I used,
balanced or unbalanced, I would have to plug the cord half way in order to get it to play at
-20db. Now that I have a hotter signal it's still weak as hell. I did a recalibration on the
data and volume sliders and I'm getting wierd values such as
"pre minimum:1004 and post:0" all the way down, and,
"pre minimum:284 and post: 355" all the way up?
now does this have anything to do with it?????
And the problem I experienced with the outputs I've had with the input, I have to plug that
in half way too and see a drastic difference in the VU screen. Other that everything works
flawlessly. Someone PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!! Do any of you think it's worth trying to fix.... or
should I just return it? I'd probably get the seller to fix it.
Let me know, Thanx, MKR
