Well yes, but that RS422 is only supported by MAC, which I don't 
have...
I guess Windows-users can only use MIDI to communicate with the EMAX 
(besides floppydisks & emx). At least that's what I understand from 
all messages on this topic in this group.

Anyway, MIDI max speed is 31.25 baud which suggests faster speeds 
than the ones I experienced. I guess it has something to do with the 
SDS protocol and handshaking and that kind of stuff ?
Or do I really have a problem in my setup ?
Anyone ever dumped such a big sample through MIDI (not RS) ?
