You can change the individual keys just be really careful and take your time opening the unit. Also be very careful of the J-wires (they are the small spring like wires attached to the keys). If you pull them the slightest bit to hard, they will stretch and then they will be useless. So, in short, yes it's possible, it's just not a very fun task. You might be able to find keys still being sold on eBay.
