Emax

This past friday I was playing with my Emax II sampler when a
4-track I had sitting on a shelf above it fell. It hit the corner
near the disk drive. Now, the Emax II doesn't work! When turned
on, the disk drive chugs for a second and then nothing. The LCD
screen never displays anything other than random lines.
It also makes a high pitched whining noise whenever I turn it
on. I opened it up and couldn't find any loose wires or anything.
Please help, if anyone knows what this is and/or how to fix
it, I would greatly appreciate it. I have a tech friend who
would be able to fix it if I told him what was wrong, but I don't
believe he could figure out what it was.
It's my main board and currently my only one with midi, so
needless to say, I'm a bit stressed.
