Yes....If you open it up and any cables that plug into the main board...plug and unplug
to make sure the connection is good. I had a reverb that would not fire up was check the
battery etc....nothing would happen.....so I unplugged the main board and other item.
plug back into the wall and it fired up...the connections on one of the ribbon cables had
just stopped making a good connection and needed resetting......this does not mean
that's your problem but what a item that old goes into the shop that's the first thing they
do is reseat the plugs.....and go from their.....You cant analyze any synth with out knowing
that the cables are making contact..........

It has no internal hard drive. I use an external zip drive in the SCSI port.
It doesnt have battery memory that I know of, unless there is a lithium battery inside that could be in need of replacing.

I have an EmaxII which has apparantly had some sort of seizure.
When I turn it on, it just displys a black bar across the LCD display
and wont do anything else.
Anyone out there with any idea of what I can do to maybe repair it and
where I could get parts?
