Hi, I own an Emax HD SE. I recently had to remove the Hard Drive and now have to load the OS diskette and just one sound at a time. What you're describing is a Librarian Program such as Unisyn (Mark of the Unicorn), or Sound Quest's program. Also the free download Galaxy (will only work on older Macs). These programs send the patch information over midi to the sound module and allow you to store patches for automatated program changes as part of a sequence or while you're composing or playing. If you have a Hard drive in your Emax you can store the patches on the hard drive and load automaticly with program change commands. I don't know of a librarian that will store and send Emax patches. There are "devise panels" for cubase that people (smarter than me) make for old analog synths, which provice some control over the gear through Cubase by the use of CC's and sysex. Does anybody know anything about this or have anything they can share?
