Re: Problems with ZIP drive

2007-04-06 by esynthesist

You always get this message when:
a/ there's no ZIP disk in the drive
b/ the ZIP disk in the drive is not formatted for EMAX-II (yet).

If this is the first time you'll use a ZIP drive/disk on EMAX-II just
- connect the drive to the EMAX-II
- put a disk in the drive
- and immediately go to the master module to format the disk.
(in the Format function, you'll have to select your drive. If the ZIP
drive works properly on SCSI 5, EMAX-II will show you the "IOMEGA"
drive on SCSI ID 5)

So don't use the "Drive select" button befor having formatted a ZIP-
disk.

After formatting is completed (can take a long time !), the "Drive
Select" button will work fine.
