Re: sample dump? HI! It's easy, but i recommend Sonic Foundry, or SONY Sound Forge, because, you can both edit the sample and when you ready, transmit. You have to connect a midi cable from your pc to emax / OUT ------------------ IN \ PC EMAX \ IN ------------------ OUT / The best way is to create an empty bank on the emax, then an empty preset, or you can add a sample to a existing preset, you should be ready to start the transfer. (if you're booting emax from diskette or zip drive, you need to have the disk in the unit, like when you're using modules, etc...) For the sound forge or the dump aplication you have to set the midi ports in use. menu > tools > sampler., and in the configure options set the sampler to SMDI or SDS capable sampler. and then OK and set the logical/send recieve sample key number and Send sample. that's all sorry for my bad english, but i'm doing my best :/ if you're not clear here is my mail/msn : xtr909x@... chip (or natalie portman) --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "Andy" <a7634@...> wrote: > > hey everyone i've been trying to figure out how to use the midi sample > dump with the emax... i have downloaded awave and it says it will be > able to export the wav data but i have no clue how to get the emax to > accept the data any ideas? also does anyone know roughly how long it > would take to transfer a full 52 seconds @ 10k onto the emax via this > method? any info would be greatly appreciated thanks very much > ~AJB >
