You used the license procedure for the OmniFlop application itself.
If you use OmniFlop (and not EMXP) to access some exotic disktypes,
like Emax, you have to get a "disk" license in order to let OmniFlop
read and write images of those disks.
This type of license however is NOT required if you only use the
OmniFlop driver + EMXP, i.e. if you don't use the OmniFlop wizard
application.
But you need another license just for allowing EMXP to access the
OmniFlop driver. Jason of OmniFlop allows third party software (like
EMXP) to use his driver. For each third party software application
there's an access code within the omniflop driver. This access code
must be activated by each user who wants to use the third party
software. That's why you have to get the EMXP license.
In order to get this license, you have to start the OmniFlop wizard
and press immediately on the "get a license" button, then choose EMXP
(N) from the list.
It's not important to provide disklayouts in the online form at
sherlock's license website, because the EMXP license automatically
contains all disklayouts supported by EMXP (being Emax and Akai
S1000).
If you also want to read/write emax disks with OmniFlop itself (i.e.
besides using EMXP), you'll have to get an additional license for
Emax disks. Even if you already have a license for EMXP, the included
Emax support in the EMXP license is not automatically available to
the OmniFlop wizard application itself. It's only available to EMXP
itself.
In the near future I will ask Jason to make EMXP free of license, so
that you don't have to get any license anymore.
