Emax

I just ran across a Emax 1000 and a Ensoniq mirage dsk at a recent sale, 
which I'm embarrassed to say what the cost was. First question is that 
when I make a boot disk is it done with any special program or can the 
files be just copied to a 720 disk. I was wondering as when I just 
copied I kept on getting a time out error with the disk I made. I was at 
the emax archive and noticed that the OS file was 3.2. Is that correct 
file to use on this system
