Hi,
Depends. Some upgrades need a PAL chip (see our web site for details), but
all need the OS upgrade diskette - which tells the OS of the new memory
size. Sound Logic still sells 2MB upgrades and they have the fabled upgrade
diskette too - which they can copy.

A better idea is to simply swap the digital board completely from one Emax
II to the other. No problem...provided the board works okay!
