Basically the key assignment page(s) are BOTH keypad option '2' in the sampling and preset definition module. Next time out try setting the pitch key range prior to sampling, that way the desired key is already set once you've captured your sample. Also, be sure to hit the 'enter' key after every time you've adjusted parameters..it is easy to exit a module without your settings being preserved and not know it. One additional thing to consider, the Emax limits key range on samples based on the chosen sample rate. I'll post the specifics later, but the higher the sample rate the lower the available keyboard spread range. Get a copy of the manual PDF if you have not already done so, I will provide specific page numbers on all I've mentioned here if necessary.
