Emax

I got my emax II just like you 3 months ago.

I downloaded the OS from "Files" section as well the software to make my PC able to 
format Emax Floppies ( I am a Mac person, no PC) and it worked just fine, the Emax ran 
like a charm.

Then, I managed to find a 1GB hard drive but it was sooooooo noisy, way too much noise 
and very loud. All the ports are already inside the Emax, all you need is the hard drive.

What I just did was contacting Scsiforsamplers and they have a smart media solution 
instead of the hard drive, I mean, today you can use a flash card as a regular 1GB hard 
drive, no heat, no moving parts, no noise and way faster. All you need are a few adapters 
from flash cards to scsi, those are available by doing a search, it will cost you less than 
$200 but is nice. I am waiting for mine in the mail still.
