Yeah thanks
I think it was an emax 1 though as i saw pics of his studio at the time with this emax keyboard in shot. He always said it was a Emax 2 but was definetly the emax 1 with about 12 seconds sampling and the analog filters!
I think he was confused, as it had the distinctive "emax" signature style logo across the front - (and not the EMAX II logo) so im after either the sound of the emax/emax 1 or the SE which was basically the same with a few extra synth features....

I have heard great things about the emax 1 and SE filters as they are
analog? this correct?
I love the Irresisitible Force "flying high" album which is 90% emax 1
multi-tracked and the filters are great on that album..
Apparently it was done by sampling sounds, and wiggling the data knob
(assigned to a filter?)
Does the emax have hipass filters or band pass?
And can anyone post a sample of a orchestral string chord sampled and
filtered by the emax so i can hear it in action??
Im not sure wheter to get an emax or a sherman filterbank for my Akai?
