Re: [emax] SCSI removable media drive?

2002-01-04 by John Silveria

I use both the Syquest EZ-135 and the Syquest EZ-Flyer 230. Both have worked
flawlessly for over 5 years.

The Zip can be a little tricky and doesn't seem to always work with some Emax II.
Although people here do swear by them. You need a Zip Classic since they have a
hardware ability to switch SCSI IDs and the newer Zips are software based (I think that's
right). The Syquest drives can be had for a steal on Ebay and Ubid.
