Hi Dave, I still have to check the Emax-II downloads from the past, but the main problem lies in the original Emax-I library. At the bottom of this message you can find an overview of the original Emax banks which were missing or corrupt, but this overview is only valid for the 512K Emax-I Banks, not for Emax-II. Of course most of them have been "remastered" afterwards by Emu for use in the 16-bit Emax-II. Since these Emax-II banks were also available for download, at first sight they *could* fill the gaps of the Emax-I library... but unfortunately the conversion of these Emax- II banks to Emax-I can introduce pitch shifting problems and panning problems on the Emax-I. This indicates that Emu did not simply convert the orginal library to 16-bit Emax-II, but additionaly performed some fine-tuning on those banks, related to the new possibilities of the Emax-II (no pitch shift limits anymore and stereo capability). Of course it would already be great that we could complete the Emax- II library. But this still does not solve our Emax-I problem :-) Anyway, just FYI, here's the overview of corrupt and missing Emax-I banks, based on two download websites which were up and running two years ago...: Corrupt banks: ZD750 - Circa 69 ZD753 - High Strings ZD755 - Chime Vibes and Bells ZD756 - Olympic Bass and Drums ZD757 - Breathy Bottles and Harp ZD758 - Flute and Bell ZD761 - Linear Synthesis 3 ZD764 - Double Reeds ZD765 - Tack Piano/Accordion ZD766 - Piano and Strings ZD767 - Gong and Timpani ZD768 - Pitz Piano ZD769 - LesPaul Electric Guitar ZD770 - Ethereal Stuff ZD771 - Dulcimer/Koto/Chimes ZD772 - Jew's Harp ZD773 - Electric Piano ZD774 - Sparco Violin ZD775 - Analog Giant 1 ZD776 - Analog Combo ZD777 - The Bliss Disk ZD778 - FM Synth 1 ZD785 - 12String Acoustic Guitar ZD786 - DSP 1 ZD787 - The Clarinet ZD788 - CourtYard Ensemble ZD789 - Mandolin, Melodica and Whistle ZD790 - Midi strings ZD791 - Synth Carillon and Sparkle Organ ZD792 - Synth Guitar/Spiral Glow ZD793 - Double Grand Piano ZD794 - Pedal Steel Guitar ZD795 - HarpsiChord, Recorder and Bamboo Flute ZD796 - Synth Brass and Choir ZD797 - Analog Strings and Big Piano ZD798 - Tick Talk Drums ZD799 - Latin Percussion ZD800 - Berimbeau Missing banks: ZD706 - Sax Combo ZD745 - Synth Pipe Organ/Brass ZD803 - AutoHarp / Synthichord ZD806 - Woodwinds and Brass ZD807 - Female Voice and Bell ZD808 - Harp Gliss 1 ZD809 - Harp Gliss 2 ZD812 - Steel Drum and Malletold ZD813 - Chinese Koto ZD814 - Emax Cymbals ZD815 - Electronic Percussion ZD816 - FX-X4/Thor III ZD817 - Perc Fifths / MidiTrio ZD818 - Warm Piano ZD819 - Digital Synth ZD820 - Percussion / Ocarina ZD821 - Acoustic Guitar / Flute ZD828 ZD829 ZD830 ZD831 ZD832 ZD834 ZD855 The list of "problem" Emax-II banks is not available yet. ///E-Synthesist --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "bty54193247" <goodrobot@...> wrote: > > Hello Ted, > > > I would be more than happy to look through my banks, and post them up to fill in the > gaps!!
