I haven't got them yet (I am in Venezuela) but scsiforsamplers sell those units at well for 
the same end.

If the drive you are buying is scsi you shoudln't have any problem using it externally or 
internally, specially wieth the emax II that holds up to 500MB internal.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
