There is no problem but I suggest you to use smart media discs, they are cheaper and way 
more reliable and faster. Zip discs do not hold the information for too long and give errors 
very oftem. 

You can install a scsi smart media drive inside the emax II and it will work as a charm, faster, 
no heat, no noise. Look at scsiforsamplers for solutions.
