Emax

I had a LCD full of solid blocks save one line straight across near  
the bottom.
All LED lights were on except Transpose and Preset Def.

The issue was not the Echip.

I wonder how many boards have had this failure and people threw the  
emax away thinking it was an Echip problem after replacing the LCD  
display which did not solve it....

Anyways-

If anyone has dead Emax logic. Send them to me and I can check them out.
I have a Rev2 and Rev3 board so can rule out if the Echip is dead or  
not.
Both types- the PLCC (little square on the Rev3 board) and the  
standard DIP style (rev 1 and 2 boards).
I can also quickly rule out any of the other somewhat hard to come by  
chips as they are socketed.....
SCANNER CPU, etc.....

Any of the other chips are fairly easily found and can be replaced.
