Hi group, All I can tell you that I found the program on one of the other sampler sites on the Synthzone.com about 6 months ago. I beleive other groups are using it to pass around Akai samples. I tried it and found it could make accurate Emax 1 & 2 disks even EIII disks. I don't beleive that it is compatable with EMX. If we are going to use the CopyQM all of the disk images are going to have to be converted to lets say a ".QM1" or a ".QM2". Personally I can tell you that CopyQM takes quite a long time to convert to and from disk to image and image to disk. I think it would be a monumental task to convert somebody's library. Somebody with a website will probably have to post them so that the group can access the files. I believe there is only 20 megabyte or so for files on the Yahoo Emax Group.

Subject: [emax] Using COPYQM
Hi group !
Skip recently talked about COPYQM a little program I just downloaded from the
files section of this group.
I didn't see anyone mention the "compatibilty" with the EMX banks.
Does anyone know if it's possible to use COPYQM to create an Emax disk from an
EMX bank ???
Thanx in advance :)

I'm sending you a copy of the shareware and the disk image of my Emax II 2.14 os to see if it will work on the your end. There is instructions included with the software. You will have to work in a DOS window. Unzip the file to a directory of your choice. I used the root directory. The command line syntax for copying the image file to floppy will be as follows:
> COPYQM A: PLAYBACK=C:zd777 BIOS
