Hello everyone! I've taken the EMAX-II CDROM list off the Silveria website for the EMU-UK as well as the drives that have been sent in by readers, and before I cough up the money to buy a drive that is already on the list, can ANYONE who is using an external CDROM drive on the Emax II chime in with an alternate drive they are using other than what is on the list or some troubleshooting or workaround steps? My example is the Toshiba XM-3401BMA, 4x? SCSI, manufactured April '94, with ROM version BC31004. The Toshiba TXM-3401-B is on the list, but because I have the non "T" BMA model my Emax II is saying not a recognized drive. The XM-3101BME is listed as well, but obviously I have again, an XM-3401BMA. Who has external CDROMS working and what does an EMAX II say when the drive is recognized? I've never been able to get past the Not Emax II drive display, with or without media in the drive.
