Emax

I am already entering my intermediate phase of sampling, but my sample sound "tight", shallow, or  something like that.  On my Roland, i jsut turn a knob called Release, and it smoothes the patch out and elongates it.  Is there something like this on the Emax?  I've added Sustain and such, but nada.
