Folks- Looks like the seller is auctioning another lot of 10 of these SCM PCD-50B model and also singles for $15 +15 shipping. Not bad for the group, but I would recommend waiting until I test this model out before everyone jumps onto buying these. They may need jumpering, proper termination resistors, or may not work at all. The description says you need three SCSI ID's to use the drive (not a problem on Emax), but the Manufacturer PDF says these have firmware to use LUN's not Targets, so 3 SCSI ID's would not be indicated in that event. In SCSI terminology, LUN's are children of a parent SCSI ID (ie the target). Which is why multiple slots may not work. Emax doesn't know about LUN numbers. I will have to test one to know for sure. I may also look into whether there are different firmwares that may be able to flash the drive to multiple slots (each slot a different ID). I will let you all know when I get mine how it turns out. I should know by Saturday as I expect them to arrive on Thursday or Friday. Know also, that all units I sell will be tested in an Emax before I ship them, assuming they work. I will keep you all posted. Regards, Ted [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
