Hello,

I have been using Alchemy 3.0 with my MIDI set up and an EMAX HD SE for quite some time. I also have an AKAI S950 with OS 1.0, my floppy drive failed about a week ago. I have been trying to use Alchemy 3.0 on my old Macintosh, but it always gives me a "communication error check connections". I am trying to use it over MIDI since it is the only option that is allowed on the software. Does any one use such a setup? If so, is there specific setting within Alchemy and the S950 that I need to set?

My Set-up is as follows:
Macintosh Quadra 650 with OS 8
Opcode Studio Plus Two (MIDI BOX to Mac)
MIDI OUT from S950 to MIDI IN of Opcode Box.
MIDI IN from S950 to MIDI OUT of Opcode Box.
Passport Alchemy 3.0.
