 I actually just re-capped my PSU last night. It still had a problems so I have a fully disassembled Emax in my living room, but my sliders were pretty grimy. Since you have it open I would do a full clean. Get a can of air or use an air comp. if you have one and clean out any hair/dust. You can buy electronic contact cleaner, or you can just use rubbing alcohol and clean the contacts. It doesn't look like it would be a good idea to lube it as that would attract more dust and doesn't appear to be needed.

Opened it up and took another look.  Yea sure enough the springs are hooked in and just pop right out.  Don't know how I missed that the first time.. thanks!

Another problem I've noticed... the data slider will jump around between values sometimes.  Especially notice when changing tempo.  Could probably use a little cleaning I'm guessing, what's the best way to go about cleaning them?
