Emax

Hello,

I wanted to see if I can get some help diagnosing the problem(s) of an Emax I i just purchased.

Here are they symptoms:


- No Frequency Cutoff - I calibrated the data slider and it registers the frequency cutoff (FC) going up in numbers but you cannot hear any change.

- No Attack in the ADSR or the filter ADSR - cannot hear an increase in attack even when the values increase.

- No Volume - volume slider was calibrated and it seems to work but moving it up or down does not make a difference...volume seems to be at 100%. 


These are pretty much all the symptoms I've notices so far. 


Things I've covered so far:

- I replaced the 4 SSM 2300 that were in the sampler - it did not seem to make ANY difference. I replaced the original chips with ones marked: "SSM2300 8652". I purchased these on eBAY. Could this be the issue?

- I went through the recalibration procedure - no change.

- I performed the diagnostic tests inside the Master menu (8, 8, YES). ERAM and Bank RAM checked out OK and all other tests seemed to have passed. 


Any ideas anyone?
