Emax

I'm a bit new at all this emax technology and have tried to research this on emulatorarchives and this forum. Am I correct that unless your emax se comes with an internal hard drive that there's no way to add an external zip drive or hard drive to it? I tried searching the database and older messages here and no luck in finding an answer.  Thanks in advance for any responses.
