Emax

got the replacement disk drive in the mail today
installed it. Initially the drive wouldnt spin at all 
but said please insert disk! then said cant find scci 1 in another position
     i had to try different positions
on the drive cable at the board and the drive to get it to work.

  couldnt get the maxtor hard drive i had sitting on my desk to work though
it would do nothing when i pressed select drive and the number 2
then would sometimes give the error message not an emax 2 drive
does anyone have a jumper chart handy on the maxtor 540s?


I have a jumper on the mtr pins and one on the c51 pins
which i thought i read along time ago set it to scci 2

btw the shipping time from route 66 was from march 3rd
to today march 22nd 19 days i guess
no complaint about it and happy to have it now.
