hi ted i have some spare rev c boards that you can add the scsi to and then give the option of exchange for rev 1 boards
also i have got a ide to atapi flash drive which works with the aec7720u
but when i try it with those atapi scsi adapters it see,s the atapi drive but wont read or write to it what if i change to a newer os do you think it would see and write to the drive
as the ide drives are hot swappable and i can get the ide to atapi interface chips are still available the ic also supports atapi scsi aswell i have a prototype from the manufacturer with there atapi rom code so the drive supports the atapi instruction set like zipdrives it has four slot options but the other slots are luns my prototype came with just the cfcard slot
i would go for it also i think we could get the rev 1 boards to work aswell but would require a piggy back board to add the extra chips for the interface

Subject: [emax] Upgrading and selling Emaxes with CF Card drives.
Wondering if I was to get Emax and add SCSI, slim floppy, and internal
CF/ PC Card drive.
what people would be willing to pay for what is basically a turnkey
unit with solid state media drive and a working media all put together?
any thoughts?
Regards,
Ted
