Have you tried another scsi cable to the zip? it could be a bad cable.

Then , some weird presets called W appears on the screen when I select  
the Drive. It seems to respond when I try to copy a bank in it, but  
the screen says again: "SCSI: EOF Error!" .

EOF stands for End Of File Error.

I will try to do some other test. If not success, I would be looking  
for another quick way to do some backup of my internal HD.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
