The Emax II can import and export Emax (SE) banks and that's it. The EIII was the line
of samplers above the Emax II and are not compatible, though I believe the EIII can
import in Emax II banks.

The experience with Zip drives and the Emax II vary from unit to unit. Officially no
Iomega drive is compatible with the Emax II however some people have had absolutely
no issue hooking up a Zip (classic) to the Emax II. I don't know much about the Zip 250,
but I do know that it needs to be SCSI assignable without software (computer)
intervention and it must not have an automatic sleep mode.
