Bugger.. I just ordered a CD300.. Well thanks for the info.. will have to 
compile a definitive list

Hello Simon,

I have tried the following CDROM drives but none of them work with the Emax II. 
All of them work 

with the ESI-2000 and Kurzeil K2500, so I know the drives are not faulty.

Sony CDU 625
Apple CD 300 Plus
Toshiba XM-5401B

Has anybody used/had success with Apple CD 300s for example?..
