You may have lost the eeprom programming. This is the "scrambled megs" condition that people talk about. Emu used to offer a service to fix this, but my understanding is they no longer do so..... My understanding also is that the disk is a one-time use and once you lose the eeprom setting, you would have to re-program the eeprom.
