If they flash repeatedly on bootup and you hear a "tcking" noise, then the PSU
will probably need recapping.. They will sometimes do that for a while and then
boot, but it is a sign that the PSU needs attention

Subject: [emax] Emax Memory Issue Resolved!!
So, I reseated all the chips as suggested and still only had one meg. I then
saw a copy of the EMAX 2 tech manual on ebay so I bought it. Interestingly
enough the solution ended up being kinda of "duh" moment. In the manual it
states that when inserting the daughter board make sure you hear a "pop" to know
that it is seated properly. I guess I was too afraid of putting too much
pressure on it and never got the "pop".....now, I have an 8 meg Emax that looks
nice and minty!!
Never thought id be excited over 8 megs.
Now, if i can figure out why my emax II leds keep blinking I can fix that and
movve it along.
Thanks for those that offered help and suggestions.
