Emax

Can you upload an image of your used disk? I want to do a binary comparison between yours and mine. I'm interested to see if they are identical. I am hoping that what was written was a simple flag. As I recall when I used the floppy it was modified super quick which makes me think something very small was done to it. 

I imaged my floppy last night and have been looking at the image in HexEdit and comparing it to two Emax2 OS disks (2.0 and 2.1) to see what's different. For the most part the start of the disks are nearly identical. But there are 3 bytes different on the memory install disk. I assume one byte indicates that it's a memory install disk. Not sure about the other two. Anyway it's all speculation.  

Do you know for sure that a small portion of the floppy was erased or replaced by garbage bytes or are you assuming? Do you have any inside scoop?
