My friend and I recently modded a JM215A for a Teac slim floppy drive using Ted's instructions: *JM215A Modifications: Bottom of Board FDC Pin2 connects to ITX pin 11. Cut this trace near pin 11. Connect FDC Pin2 to ITX pin 13 with insulated 30ga jumper / wire wrapping wire. ITX pin 4 jumper to FDC10 Top of Board With board "right side up" so that "C1" screened on the board is readable and away from you, there are 5 traces that run a diagonal. Cut the 2nd one away from you. * However, I am able to get the drive to power but, the Emax still does not see the drive. I still get the message "please insert floppy". Might anyone know anything else that I am missing? Regards, -Scott -- <http://www.obsoletecomponents.ca> [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
