Emax

Each time I attempt to transfer a sample via midi to my emax se I get this error message:

"Aborted 0 bad ACK for Packet #0000"

I've tried using DSP-Quattro and Elektron's C6, both are greeted with this lovely message on initiation of file transfer. 

I'm running OSX and using a MOTU midi lite. I also attempted with a midisport 1x1 but it made no difference.

Anyone know what may be causing this?
