you need a multi meter to see if you are getting the corect voltages you could have cold solder joints
the pads are very small and suffer from thermal overheat when desldering and soldering
looking at your solder joints they are a bit messy
you need a tester with out one you can diagnose continuity of joints from the connect of the pcb
i always test from the connector of the ribbon cable to the
lcd panel to make sure that i have continuity and also of testing that the pin 1 is ground as if you have no ground connection then its a open circuit
