The pcb50b is a SCSI device. To my knowledge, you need an EMAX I/II with SCSI in order to use it. The JM215A is just an adapter to go from a standard floppy connector to a slim floppy connector so you can use a slim floppy with the EMAX I/II. --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "freddy1771994" <freddy1771994@...> wrote: > > Hi thank you very much for that informative answer! > Sounds easy... > I 'll get one of those for my emax II (8mb). > > Just one little question remains: > > -I'm wondering if I want to buy an EMAX 1 without SCSI and which does not even have the possibility to upgrade it to SCSI, could I mount a JM215a floppy converter + pcb50b to use the floppy connection as a standard external harddrive by using cf cards? >
