ted the yellow version is the only drop in replacement

the white has its connectors the same as the vfd

on the top left inline row 1-14

which means you have to hard wire them

thats what i have had to do with all the others that have white

and when i tried to get them to have yellow they said they wanted blue or 
white like the vfd

the blue is navy on the oled so the white is the one only like the blue neon 
of the vfd that every one seems to like

the oled has less glare than the vfd

so unless you  use yellow on black all the others require soldering cables 
point to point

dont need to solder pin 3 as there is no angle

and on the racks you can remove the invertor board and the angle controll 
and caps as they are not in use

and there is no connection for the led as there aint one
