yes if its a hd rack there will be a 26 pin idc connector you just need to get 26pin idc to 25pin dsub parallel port cable
and the connector is by the 50 pin idc but towards the back of the machine
you will need a 25dsub punch they are expensive or dill and file
its easier on the keyboard as its plastic
on none hd versions there was a conversion board that had to be soldered to the 50pin scsi connector and it provided a new 50 pin idc connector and a 26 pin idc connector
but if you dont have a a 26pin idc connector you can get a scsi ribbon with extra 50 pin sockets and buy a 50 pin to 25pin dsub conversion board from the states they are £10
thats what i use for the internal cf drives on the asr10 and so that i can also have an external port aswell

Subject: [emax] Emax I HD External Upgrade
Hi,
I'm wondering what I have to modify if I want to mount an external SCSI connector? My Rack has the modell number 1020 and an internal HD.
I did this upgrade with my Emax Keyboard and I just had to connect the scsi 25 adapter with the pcb and cut a hole in the backside. Are these pcb connections already there on a hd rack?
Thank you very much!!!
Best regards
Freddy
