there is a direct replacement vfd for the sp12 but its 

£65+vat and delivery which has the connections the same as the connector

but you have to file the pcb as the glass is larger to one side than the original

  but on the sp12 and sp1200 the wiring is reversed

  and its not a 14 pin dual line but a line row of pins

  also the sp1200 they did a convertor board and its wired backwards compared to the standard 14 pin dual row 

  on them they pin 1 is + vcc and pin 2 is ov

  i remove the conversion board and hard wire it like on the original design

  the row of connection goes

  14/13/12/11/10/9/8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1

  and on the oled it is

  1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14

  you can use the ones from the rapid online for this as they 

  are inline row and it has to be hard wired any way
