Emax

emaxII needs to have the hd or cf drive as boot scsi id1 and not 0

like on the emax 1 emax 1 needs scsi id 0 for it to boot from

i had a customer take out his cf drive out of the emax 1 and put it into the emax 2 saying it would not work

but when he put it back into the emax1 it would boot

ted came back with a message saying it needed to be on scsi id1 for emax 2 to boot from

so customer put it to id1 and then it booted from the cf drive in the emaxII

  With and Emax II I know that sometimes the HD ID chain of 0 must be placed higher (example id 7) in order to make it bootable. The HD ready signal can sometimes be slower than the access time of the Emax II in order to find it on "time". Could this also count for an Emax I?

  Another possibility is to remove gently the scanner cpu en reseat it in firmly again.
