I don't have an NEC in my stack of drives.

Again- if you send me a picture of the jumper sections I might be able to piece it together.

Maybe i should get an Amiga to make it work with that, so there's some analysing software.

The drive looks clean, i doubt it had any mechanical defects.

It does format, stepping thru the tracks nicely, and upon finishing, says disk error. Will not read a thing. In diagnostics every number stays at zero, so it really does not read.

It would be a shame to throw out....
