Re: drop in replacement oled for emax rack?

2013-05-23 by sweetsynthchuck

Thanks ted,

I have been searching for oleds with the side pins and the initial link is the only ones I have found so far, there are many oleds with top/bottom single rows of pins but the left hand side double row pins are less common.

also this may sound like a dumb question but what is the exact name for example I wanted to solder on a 16pin (insert name here) and solder it to the oled and simply connect a cable between screen and circuit board, headers/pins im not sure of the exact name, <as I have another sampler that needs to be replaced.

to be more precise, screen has 16pins soldered to it to enable a cable to connect to it, circuit board of sampler will have the same 16 pin and cable connects circuit board to oled.

Thanks
