I can get my hands on a old Mac Ibook that is running OS10 I think. If this machine enough to run the various software out there for the Emax. I know this may sound dumb, but Ive never used a Mac before.

any old mac with os7 you can get cheap nubus macs
for £40-100
i use a macIIci
with 128mb ram and scsi cf drive but i use a
soundtools digidesign soundcard and external digital to analog and analog to
digital convertor and use the ful sd2 as i use it with my EIII EII emax and
other samplers
but if usind just an emax with sdemax then any
nubus comp with scsi will do you and a zip 100 external drive for the sdemax as
its copy protection is on the zip drive image
